The hotel building was very impressive, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was superb and the food was excellent. Ideally placed for us, as we were attending the March & Rally for Scottish Independence on Calton Hill that weekend. and not far from Calton Hill. Ideal for romantic walkings around the top

The older gentleman working in the reception was a perfect example of hospitality and he also seemed to have a great knowledge of Edinburgh, which he shared generously.

We arrived and were greeted by Stuart, who was very friendly and courteous during our check-in process. The apartment space was luxurious, comfortable, very well thought out and utilised - with modern open-plan living in mind, balcony with fold back door to seamlessly bring the outside space in, serviced to a high standard daily; friendly and very helpful staff. Very central location at the 'Lawnmarket' on the 'Royal Mile' in the Old Town, in the shadow of the castle itself - great for sight- seeing most within a very short walking distance and only a short bus ride to others.

Great place in the middle of the centrum. Despite this, it's rather quiet and away from all the comotion from the Grassmarket. For us the location was splendid, eventhough we had a car. For this we were set up with a free parking spot close by.

The self-contained apartment was beautifully appointed with luxury facilities and attention to detail with all basic provisions e.g. coffee, tea, milk croissants The location was great with walking distance to the museum,art galleries, transport restaurants and the castle. The apartment complex itself is very secure.
The bedroom was clean, bright and well set out given the limited space.
The bathroom, whilst also small had everything you need and unlike many higher rated accommodation I've stayed in hot water was available at all times and at a constant temp.
The staff were very friendly and helpful especially to the many foreign visitors there for the festival.
