There is a park right across the street for kids to play! Apartment is also all on one floor with only one step to enter. The owner provided cereal, milk and bread which was unexpected and appreciated. The bus into town stopped right outside the house.

My TV needed reprogramming at 8pm on a Bank Holiday, out-of-hours maintenance attended promptly and fixed quickly. - Found it very convienient and as I come from Leith I really enjoyed being there at a very good rate but as mentioned above...if I need to come down on my own again and the price had gone up I wouldn't be able to afford to stay. If however I was with friends then I wouldn't hesitate to use the apartments again

  Walking distance to old city about 45 minutes or easy bus ride. Beautiful home, gracious host. Breakfast was delicious - The decor of the room was good and the character of the hotel was nice. Beautifully clean.

  To start off our 3 days we were arriving after the check in time, but the owner stayed up to let us in and told us the best way to get into town to get something to eat. Each day we got a great offering at breakfast and our room made up. We were really made to feel at home the whole stay. - This is a family guesthouse, and that explains why you feel so much at home there. The floor cover, design and dining room all make you feel a special guest. Breakfasts icluded, wifi is free. And fast. Plus a relatively close distance from the center - that's the best investment for a young couple, friends or a solo traveller who want to enjoy Edinburgh in any time of year.

The breakfasts were great and they even made other guest's meals that weren't even on the menu!! They both work really hard and long hours and always have a smile on their faces. They made the start of our trip to Edinburgh.
