Room had a lovely sea view and close to town and was walking distance to Orme and tram ride to summit. Weather was beautiful and a lot going on with the Victorian Extravaganza weekend. Breakfast was adequate and staff were attentive.The new owners having been there for only six months were striving to improve hotel and with the refurbishments they have done have improved the presentation immensley. I cannot commend the staff at the Quay enough, they were so helpful and polite and did their best to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. The food in the bar/lounge was excellent, it was simple food but done to a high standard in my opinion. I would definitely stay here again, the 24 hour room service was very useful too. This will not stop us staying there again in the future .We had a wonderful weekend .

Superb location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good self-catering facilities with option for bought full breakfast and meals. Childrens corner and lawns to play on. Only12 minute steep walk downhill to Castle and Town. A bit longer coming back! -
