  The location was great, just a stones throw from shops, theatre/bars/restaurants, Princes Street and other attractions. The staff very helpful (especially the doorman-William), the rooms were very well equiped, clean and tidy and escaped out onto a rooftop expance that gave great views out over Edinburgh. We were given a rooftop garden room which affords great views over Calton Hill and towards the sea. The beds are very luxurious. The hotel is near all the main shopping and attractions. The honesty bar is great and reflects well on the hotel. Breakfast was right out of the top drawer. 1st class break.

  The staff were very polite and informative. The hotel is petite and cosy. The rooms are amazing with some great touches and are great to relax in if travelling on business or leisure. The location is brilliant.   Hotel staff were lovely, always smiling and on the day of our departure offered to keep our luggage to one side so we could go and enjoy Edinburgh without having to drag our luggage around and collect it later! Walk in/rainfall shower was out of this world, easy to adjust the heat - The hotel had a unique and modern design, extremely friendly and helpful staff and nothing was too much trouble. We visted the adjoining restaurant 'STEAK' and although it was quite expensive the food and service was worth every penny. We stayed in the room Loch Rannoch which featured a comfy king sized bed, a large flat screen TV with Sky, modern bathroom with huge walk in shower and despite other reviews plently of hot water! We would highly recommed staying here, was perfect for exploring Ed

Also the facilities we had, dishwasher,washing machine etc and the fact they left us products to use facilities like dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, rubber gloves. - It is realy a nice apartment with big rooms and adequate facilities.
