suites were excellent value for money though they do not offer easy access for elderly or disabled as there is no lift available I would certainly stay in this hotel again when visiting Cardiff for its location,facilities and excellent parking for residents - 1. I liked the fact that it was located so close to the city that I couldeasily walk to major tourist attractions. I also appreciated the use ofthe free car park. - The Mercure Lodge Hotel, Cardiff is a great hotel based about 5 mins from the centre - An excellent base for a weekend in Cardiff. Would reccomend :o)

Our 3rd floor room was clean, well equipped with towels and toilet
sundries. Heating system was excellent and we liked the facility of
being able to open the window for extra ventilation. The tea/coffee-
making facilities were very good and there was no problem obtaining
extra milks etc from the trolley. The staff were excellent: they were

The staff were excellant, helpful and friendly. They gave us interconnecting rooms for us and our 2 grandchildren age 13 and 11 which was ideal. the room was pleasant and clean, it was in an ideal position for the shopping centre and the Mermaid Quay and the Dr Who experience all within easy walking distance. The breakfast was ok the continental part much better than the hot food.Good choice of drinks and proper orange etc. Good value for what we paid.
