Very relaxing, room had lots of character, breakfast was simple, pub downstairs was cheap and good food. We were looking for a relaxing night and we found it here. Location wasn't too far from the castle and Queen's, but beware that the address is actually 36, not 26. -

Elgar was similar to the first apartment I stayed in with this company
I have stayed in many and I keep returning as I rate them very highly.
I recommend booking more than 1 night to really feel the benefit of a home from home apartment and usually all for the price of a hotel room!

The Elgano exceeded all expectations.
My stay was on a weekend when the Welsh rugby team were playing so it was a busy weekend in the City centre.
I arrived at 7.30pm on Saturday and even though I arrived at what seemed a busy time in their restaurant/bar I was greeted with a hello by smiling and courteous members of staff and checked in promptly.

I really loved this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly,
rooms were clean and cosy. Breakfast was rich - in comparison to what I
was used to in London. A good choice from cereals, toasts with jam and
English breakfast. The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the
university and from the city center, so you can walk everywhere (except
for Cardiff Bay, that's a bit further away but there's regular
train service in the city). We stayed in a coach house accross the yard

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were modest, but a great value for money and also very clean. The hotel is on a good location close to the city center, but still very peaceful and safe. Breakfast was excellent as well, fresh bread, yoghurts, fruit every morning. I would definitely come back to stay at the Beverley, especially if I come back with friends or family.

Close to town only 5 pounds in a taxi, the apartment was big enough for the 6 of us , clean had everything we needed. Arun the man who met us with the keys was fantastic.. We were on a leisure trip. I person who received us was very nice and friendly. Bed rooms, bath room, kitchen were clean and tidy. Location of the property is great too. Not much far from the city. A pub near the propertry has made the place cool. The price of the property is a bit expensive. Overall good experience. Would recommend others too.

Very friendly, lovely seating decked area out front for relaxing in the evening, if you smoke it's ideal.
Unlike many hotels I've stayed in the WiFi was unlimited which meant I could browse and catch up easily and it was a decent speed too. Top marks for this!

The Owner was warm and welcoming. Noticing my use of a walking stick, she offered us the choice of 2 rooms, as she was concerned for my comfort. I have never had this consideration before!! The room was clean, warm and comfortable, and we were shown how to work the tv and digital box. All facilities were clean and working. A key was given and we were able to come and go as we pleased. Super hotel with friendly and accommodating staff who went out of their way to help you and make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The hotel is right in the centre of the town and this makes it perfect for short city trips as you can wander in for shopping, sightseeing and food then go back easily and relax!
