  Staff were very friendly and helpful. The downstairs rooms were lovely, it's easy to see what a great house the building must once have been. The room was excellent value for money, especially as the price included breakfast, and the location is good, only 10 mins walk down the hill into Bath. Don't let your satnav take you through the scary backs... cosa dice la gente » treets with steep roads, the hotel is easily reached by bigger and less scary ones! - V friendly staff - good setting up the hill from the city but with a fine view from upper floors - bedroom was functional clean comfortable with a v powerful shower - and although the decor was a little tired and dated it added to the overall feel of an old English hotel from years ago - so whilst that could seem negative in fact it added to the fun of the one night stay.

  The hotel was full of character and well thought out. The staff were unbelievably helpful and nothing was too much trouble... they even dried our swimmers for us on our last day!   We loved our stay in this B&B. The hosts (Mary and her husband) were very friendly, helpful and flexible. We felt like we were at home. Breakfast was better than in a 5-star hotel! The situation of the B&B is central, so easy access for visiting the city.   The guesthouse had a very warm atmosphere, felt instantly like a home. The decoration was designed with taste and focused on comfort, while cleanliness was clearly considered a priority as well. It was a lovely break from daily life, and I would certainly recommend it. - My friend and I stayed in a twin room here for 3 nights. The guesthouse is warm and comfortable both in terms of the rooms and the lovely guesthouse owner who was very attentive during our stay. The breakfast was good quality as was the coffee, tea, biscuits provided in the room everyday. The guesthouse is just outside Bath centre but there are frequent buses and the Royal Crescent is only 35 min walk away. Would definitely recommend :-)
