  Although the rooms were just a tad tired they were very clean and the beds were comfy.The breakfast was marvellous and plenty to choose from.Wouldn't go hungry here. Hot, powerful shower - although no bath. 5. Lots of big mirrors. 6. Good selection of hot choices on breakfast buffet counter.

  The hotel is dated, but in a very authentic, cultural type of way. We had the executive suit (Lamond) which we were surprised at in its size, comfort and cleanliness. I've never had a hotel with a Spa bath! The staff were exceptionally friendly (not unusual for Scotland though) and the breakfast was yummy - diet went out the window!
