Cosa dice la gente
Fantastic location, right in the heart of the city. Lovely quirky building. The staff and the owner were extremely helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They accommodated us with a vegan breakfast and helped to organise the parking even after we checked out. We will definitely be back and we warmly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to spend some time in Glasgow. Many thanks for making our stay so pleasant!. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
The friendly and helpful staff. We were at the cafeteria 45mins before
it opens and the staff told us that she couldn't have the cooked
food ready for us. Despite that, she tried her best to provide us as
much free flow of food (cereal, milk, juice, coffee, toast) as we can
get for our breakfast. The receptionist was also helpful to initiate to
show us the directions to train station.
fantastic wee place, suited my needs perfectly.
Very central, plenty cool bars round a bout and in a safe area for walking home alone.
Staff were really helpful, very friendly.
Good Wifi access in rooms and lounge/lobby area.
Breakfast was great and rooms clean and comfy. Nice and quiet too with the option of leaving luggage for free.
No complaints at all :).
Friendly and helpful staff, nothing a problem for them. Perfect city location. Clean and everything you could ask for. Would definitely use again, in fact would be my first choice if I visit Glasgow again, which I will!!.
Very friendly and helpful reception guy, we felt very welcome! It is a nice little hotel and you couldn't be disappointed with it. Don't be fooled by the look on the outside - it's very different when you go in!.
Room was spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Location was great in walking distance from the city centre.

Good location for the great little wine bars on bath street
Quiet room
Modern bathroom

Supplies shower gel and shampoo which is great for the price of the room.
Absolutely fine. It's low budget but clean and functional.e again.
Hard to fault if this is what you are looking for (as I am, as I have a
very small budget for overnight stays.) I'll stay her.
The hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff was very considerate and friendly and we wouldn't hesitate in booking the Newton Hotel again. It is also very central to the shops and night life.
Staff were lovely. Room was great, good finishes, can't believe the price is so cheap. Great location for nightlife and shopping. Close to business district. Good breakfast.
I liked the room decor, it seemed modern, the reception looks great and the staff were on hand 24/7. I would book again, but would make sure it was a different room.
All the facilities were as described. Good food at breakfast. Fast and polite service from the staff.Good greeting upon arrival and excellent customer service.
Great location for visiting the Kelvingrove Museum and the Glasgow School of Arts. Endless cafes and bar in this location so never short of a place to eat.

Good value, Staff Friendly, Breakfast Ok, overnight NCP car park 200 yds away £2.00 (overnight charge 1800-0800).
The staff were so friendly and welcoming, couldn't ask for better workforce, they are a credit to your hotel.

Nothing really.
nothing, it was great.
N/A.
Room was a bit small but seen other rooms and would request another one if I returned which I would at some point in time.
Also location of the room made it a bit noisy so would ask to be away from reception desk which was manned 24 hours a day and very secure.
to access some rooms you have to go through the dining room
There should be an ironing board at different areas in the hotel to save carting one all the way from reception
An extra pillow in the room would have been nice
All minor points as the hotel is a really good value for money stay for a short city break.
Watch out for the yellow peril (well they're blue in Glasgow.) In
other words, look out for the traffic wardens who hide round corner and
scuttle off if they see you coming. Horrible ********'s.
My self and a friend stayed in a family room at the front of the building on the ground floor. The noise at night was really bad, it sounded as if the window was open (which it wasn't) which disturbed our sleep a great deal.
Nothing really major although a shelf in the bathroom would have been useful to place personal items on.
I would find it hard to complain about the Newton and will be booking a room again soon.
nothing major. it was all just right.
Their way of checking out very rude attitude not even gave me 30 mins extra.
Nothing.
internal noise from showers in early hours but could handle it...
The only thing was that the toilet brush in the bathroom was dirty.
As a smoker which I know is bad, there is no where to smoke apart from the main street which does not feel great to stand there and also does not look great for your hotel. Maybe some table and chairs down stairs outside the dining room outside away from the street. Breakfast the bacon was very strange but for the price I cannot really complain as value for money.
Nothing to dislike.
Nothing.
I have no complaints at all.
Nothing.
No complaints!.
My mum stayed aswell with a friend. She is disabled & uses a wheelchair however no wheelchair access ramp - luckily she can manage a few stairs so we could cope. The disabled room (no.18) was spacious & well designed.
Breakfast was disappointing - Turkey rashers instead of bacon, sorry not my cup of tea, egg was rather too well fried and my sausage not great either but possibly we were just unlucky, otherwise everything else ok.
The rooms were a bit close to the reception desk on the ground floor, but it was still very quiet despite this.
The room was far too warm so had to switch off radiator and open the window.
used needles in the back street by the parking area (not the fault of the hotel but it was rather unpleasing).
Room too hot despite turning down heater to zero.
Breakfast wasn't fantastic, but for the price we paid it was fine.
Liked everything.
Room was a bit on the small side.
No complaints.
Nothing that I didn't like.
The food.
The burn on the carpet , and the turkey rashers.
