The owners and staff are personable and always helpful. High ceilings, spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, great location, and an excellentbreakfast. The contemporary art on exhibition is beautifully displayedin open lobby areas while each room has an artist theme, the perfectbalance in a character, graded building. The Da Vinci gets everythingright, I look forward to my next visit!. The owners were just lovely - friendly and helpful - even getting us a table in a full restaurant near the hotel on the Saturday night. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious. the hotel was seconds away from the beach and promonade.tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
The breakfast was fantastic, Paul and Frank really helpful and friendly. A home from home. The room we stayed in was lovely and big and nicely decorated. This is our second visit and we will go again soon. Great value, light, airy atmosphere yet full of colour from displayed art. Modern, tasteful furniture. Friendly, informal but effiecient service. The staff were lovely and the decor was really nice. Great value for money and a great breakfast. I will definitely come back again. Modern, clean and stylish. Really large and beautifully decorated rooms. Really friendly and helpful staff. The staff went out of their way to help with anything! They were very polite, helpful and welcoming. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed really comfortable. The hotel offers good value for money and is ideally placed for anEastbourne break being just around the corner from the Theatres. The DaVinci has its very own art gallery displaying work from local artists, andindividual art themed rooms. Our room was clean and spacious with a largecomfy bed, and a view of the sea. Very friendly and informative owner.Excellent breakfast with good veggie option. Great hotel, really friendly helpful owners, they have done wonders with the place, and nothing was any trouble to them, Will stay in one of the executive rooms next time! Loved the artwork and the comfortable bed.Welcoming, comfortable, great position with a view of the sea, nice gallery areas on ground floor. Our room, the facilities, and especially the breakfast were all very good. Staff were relaxed and friendly - interested in making sure we were enjoying our stay without being intrusive. The large airy lounges on the ground floor displaying exhibitions of contemporary art, made a stimulating and refreshing change from the rather boring seaside hotel ambience that you often get for the price we paid. The service was excellent - they really went the extra mile to make our stay most enjoyable. The rooms were modern and tidy, and the breakfast was great. Very friendly staff, treated me like a VIP. Fantastic cooked breakfast, clean and comfortable lounge areas, tastefully decorated.fexibility for arrangement of an additional breakfast and bed for my daughter without any charge. The staff also nice and assist me to print location map for other hotel information. All staff and owners couldn't do enough for you. Very, very hospitable. The hotel was clean and new and bright and beds were new and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Unique character; decor, fittings, furnishings etc. were wonderful. Nice staff. Nice atmosphere; Very friendly and helpfull owners; Enjoyed the art gallery on the ground floor and the decoration of the rooms; Great location; Free internet in the common areas; Example of how a little personal touch and being different from the other hotels can make a big difference. The room was a good size. The breakfast was excellent. Having original works of art all around the hotel lent it an added ambience.Unique concept and breakfast a piece of art!. Ideal location.I liked the idea that you are given the keys to the front door and you can come in anytime, as I have stayed in other hotels in Eastbourne and you have to knock and wait after certain time so it has a home feeling that you have the keys and get in when you like. the room was nice and big, clean initially but room service didn't do a good job in cleaning daily everything including the bathroom. We liked the location of the hotel, and the art work was impressive. Our room was large and comfortable with flat screen TV. The breakfast was enjoyable.Large rooms. Generally attractive decor with a good display of art downstairs. Extensive english breakfast. Lack of parking - but staff provide an exemption permit if you can find a space in the street.curtains were see through chiffon, far too light in rooms-didn't want to wake up so early but was woken by the light. Everthing else was fantastic. Thank You. A tremendous makeover of an old building, but one or two shabby features still persist - e.g. the room doors looked like they had seen better days! We were also disappointed that our double bed was actually two singles pushed together. This meant that there was a central ridge in the middle of the mattress.Bathroom and Shower could have been better. Improve cleanliness of the room. The room did not have a full length mirror and the dressing table mirror was too high to see myself when seated. The shower room needs improving.I wouldn't say I didn't like but it was the room service, I do realise that the hotel is knew but there wasn't people around you could ask, the only way of speaking to somebody is to ring the bell at the front of wait untill the breakfast time, however all staff including the owner were very nice and very welcoming and would like to help. The bathroom was poor and is in need of updating. Our room was cold with only a small electric heater ( bathroom had no heating ). There was no visible evidence of any staff ( bell system ). Parking was difficult - the summer months would be worse. In the bathroom there were patches, underneath the window for example where the paper / paint was missing. The lower portion of the hotel frontage needs touching up to create a better first impression.
