We booked this at the very last minute and we are so glad we did. The location is perfect, so quiet and relaxing. All the staff are delightful, the pub itself is beautifully decorated, the food in the restaurant is to die for, if they have it on the menu, try the roe buck, mouth wateringly delicious. The waiting staff were very knowledgeable and informative should you want to ask any questions. The wine menu is amazing, a few very expensive choices but then mixed in with more affordable wine. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Had a great stay here. It was good value for money, enjoyed our meal and so on. A couple of tiny niggles - no slippers to go outside to the hot tub (which was fabulous), the tap to the sink was wobbly, the room was rather too hot for me and as it had underfloor heating and there was no wind it was almost impossible to cool it down enough to sleep, but overall have to say well done to all the staff etc they were really great and overall give it a 9/10. We will be back.
We had a fantastic stay are were made to feel very welcome. Rooms were well designed and lovely and we will definitely come again next year for Goodwood.
Staff friendly and the owners were very approachable and worked very hard.
Breakfast was lovely and we wish we could have sampled the other food as it looked amazing.
Overall I would highly recommend this lovely little place.
Sam and his team run a very tight ship at the White Horse. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, the beds are super luxurious and the showers are massive. What more do you want from a reasonably priced hotel. Excellent for goodwood.
We only stayed for one night and it was fantastic From the food to the

from Tim the Cypriot guy.
The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The room was amazing, Galway was luxurious... The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay so much we are returning for a 4 night stay in August... Our dog also was made very welcome..
Location, efficient friendly staff, excellent food, good service, close proximity to Goodwood Festival of Speed, the charm of the premises, clean and chic rooms. The whole atmosphere of the place was good.
A super comfy bed and a beautifully decorated room with real attention to detail in the country. The food quality in the restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner.
We liked everything about the White Horse. It was perfect for us and what we wanted which was to spoil ourselves in beautiful surroundings in an intimate but friendly atmosphere.
Fabulous accommodation, set in a beautiful location, staff friendly and very professional, food outstanding, would highly recommend.

Food was exceptional. A real pleasure. Beautiful setting and decor.
The real ale. Wife liked Champagne type lager.
friendly staff.
value for money.
Hit my head a few times on the sloping roof in our room, but no major injury. Had no milk in our room for our morning coffee but after going to reception this was sorted out. Apart from that everything else was perfect.
The bathroom could do with some TLC - re grouting etc, but certainly not enough to mark down this terrific hotel.
Nothing.
A little more expensive for both the food and the room than we would normally pay but it was a special treat for our trip to Goodwood.
We visited on an extremely hot weekend. Tea making facilities were provided, but there was no milk (although I'm sure if we asked it would have been provided).
Although we booked a luxury room, as we were the last to check-in and I think we were actually allocated the standard accommodation, although still beautiful, not what was requested or indeed paid for sadly.
The slope of the roof made it impossible to sit up in bed to read or
watch TV.No guest information.
Long waits for food. No fresh fruit or yoghourt displayed for breakfast. Copper bath dangerous for non athletes. Timber cabins need air con.
no milk in room.
noisy rooms.
