Haven House is a top class B&B on the beautiful Northumbrian coast. The host was very helpful and friendly, the room spacious and clean with excellent facilities, with all those extra things that make a stay special (bathroom toiletries, replacement teas, coffee and biscuits every day. The rooms very lovely, spacious and nicely decorated. The area where the B & B was situated was beautiful, the added bonus being the friendly horses looking over the wall. The hosts Alan and Linda were very friendly and helpful. Great break, would definitely go back. -

We booked for a twin and a double but only 3 of us turned up.We assumed we would be paying for 4, but when we paid our hosts Alan and Linda only charged us for a single and a double.It was a very kind gesture, and they were also good fun and very welcoming.

Springwood feels so much like home! The owners were exceptionally obliging in ensuring that we had everything we could possibly need to have a happy stay there. Seahouses is a higgledy-piggledy village on the coast with wonderful food and drink in quaint pubs and restaurants near the harbour. Had a very enjoyable stay at Megstone House. We stayed for just one night as we tried to see as much as Northumberland as possible in a few days. Donna and Paul the couple who owned the B&B are a lovely couple and the house is full of character, very clean and modern. As we were the only couple staying we received star treatment but I'm sure

Megstone House was a fabulous find, immaculate and tastefully decorated 'huge' bedrooms. In a great location for exploring the coast and only a 5 minute stroll into town and the harbour. Donna and Paul are perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them and their breakfast was all you needed to set you up for the day ahead. A very friendly welcome in a warm and cosy home, would definately recommend.
