The location is superbe, with magnificent views from our room, the dining room, lounge and terrace. The staff were most attentive and helpful, and we enjoyed the food. Lynton is a great base to explore Exmoor,and the hotel is easy to find and beautifully placed to walk the towns of Lynton and Lynmouth. -

I had a wonderful week here. Caroline and Alan made me feel at home, and although travelling on my own I felt I was not lonely. The location was perfect with everything on our doorstep, we parked the car in their car park(added bonus) and did not need to drive again till we left.
Caroline and Alan great hosts with a very welcome tray of tea when we arrived and great breakfast. Longmead is a beautiful house that is full of warmth and character. Would definately stay there again.

We went to Lynton to relax from our busy life in London. The landscape is breath taking and the contact with nature amazing. Owner of the guest-house was fabulous and outstandingly helpful. Couldn't have felt more looked after. Everything one could think of had been provided for in the room. Breakfast was good. Location is fantastic.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable with balcony views across the river. The b and b was situated cenralyy and within easy access to everything. We would recommend it to anyone. and will probably be returning one day. The breakfast was superb! -

Never before we have met such a wonderful couple, who are so dedicated to make their guest house the most wonderful place in Devon as Alistair and Emma. The owners Emma and Alistair are really lovely. They are most welcoming, helpful and kind. The setting is delightful.The breakfast was great, a range of very tasty choices.There are lots of interesting places to visit nearby, lots of charming walks and the town is most attractive. It is a great place to stay. We will certainly return and recommend it to others.
