  Proprietors were friendly and hands on - willing to help sort any problems - and staff were all pleasant and helpful. Room was basic but clean and adequate for needs. Food was good - we chose to eat in for two nights. Suited our budget and the staff and service made up for any other shortcomings. Free parking at hotel, and town of Aylsham within ... cosa dice la gente » easy walking distance so we didn't have to use car much; gather good local bus connections to Norwich too although not tried. - Ron the owner, Martin the handyman and Clare the receptionist were all very pleasant and very helpful when I needed their assistance. The location is very tranquil, and the room was very clean and odour-free, and the bed was comfortable enough for a sound night's sleep (I am very demanding of the beds I sleep on, comfort-wise!). They even provided kippers on request for breakfast!
