  it was clean, good location for shopping and the train station. we went for the fringe festival. we booked two room and had four in our party, the snooze box is in a great location to go to the gay bars, castle and dungeons in Edinburgh. the rooms are small but do what they need to do with a TV and wet room, they had heating and air conditioning. ... cosa dice la gente » we are all going back next year and going to stop at the snooze box, next year we will stay longer, great value for money and one of the best holidays - We loved the location which meant we did not have to use public transport. Parking was great, bed was very comfortable as was the bed linen and towels. Everything you need is there. We een got a free tea and coffee in the morning. Excellent. Staff were particuarily helpful and welcoming.

There is a bus stop 50yds from the hotel and you can get a bus to Edinburgh which costs £3- 50p return. which is a dam sight cheaper than the £20+ it costs to park for the day. The Hotel staff are friendly and helpful the hotel is a very modern design and beautifully appointed. Don't be put off by the fact its next to Tesco's on a retail park, its just brilliant planning as if you are going out for the day you can go and get food to take with - We loved the design & decor of the Dakota. It was very modern & stylish. The staff from beginning to end were amazing ... So so friendly. We stayed for 2 nights but on the 2nd night we decided we wld like our 9 yr old Grandson who we were visiting in Edinburgh to stay the night with us. We asked reception if that wld be possible & within 10 mins a z bed was being set up in our room. We had a great weekend & will definitely be going back. My Grandson was well impressed also.. Hi
