Exterior looked not very appealing, but the newly refurbished room I stayed in was fantastic. I loved the attention to detail and the cleanliness which I really didn't expect. Lovely pub attached to it in an urban area with tesco extra opposite and take aways down the road. I got more than I expected and so was very happy with my stay. Bargain! -

My first impression was negative.I was wrong.I have never felt more at home in any hotel before.The frienleness of staff and other guests,including folk in the bar area could not have been better.I was made to feel very welcome and would choose the Pineaple as my first choice hotel in future.Thank you.

The staff were accommodating and very friendly, and were able to arrange a late check-in at very short notice. The room was clean, comfortable and fitted with everything necessary. The hotel has great transport links, equidistant to Sandhills, Bank Hill, and Kirkdale stations.

Well appointed and friendly B&B, close to the city. Spacious room, excellent breakfast, friendly owner and staff. An easy walk to the city centre via the main road or canal side. It's a quiet, friendly and welcoming place to stay. Such love and care have gone into making everyone's stay a great one. The room was peaceful, well appointed and immaculately clean. The breakfast was excellent! Definitely the best place I have stayed in Chester, so look NO further than Lavender Lodge!!
