I had the room with balcony that you see in the pictures (3rd floor) -
it was very nice sitting there with a cup of tea in the sun in the
mornings. Walking distance to everything and the guys at Pepe on the
corner are great. Very tasty coffee and breakfast included at The House
Café (open from 9 am). -

The appartment is located in an old house near the Galata tower. Numerous small restaurants, galleries, and shops are in the neighbourhood. After climbing to the fifth floor (no elevator) a marvelous view on Bosporus and Golden Horn can be enjoyed. The appartment is freshly renovated; furniture and equipment is brand-new (the door to the kitchen balcony, however, needs to be replaced as it leaks during rain showers....) and was cleaned carefully several times during our stay. Location - Only a few minutes walk from the blue mosque and another few minutes will take you to Ayasofya and other major attractions. There was a mosque too right next to our room, but only for males.
Market - we arrived on Wednesday and there was a market selling fruit, vegetables, cheeses and much more. A good way to save on food!
They provide a small gas burner and basic cutlery, you might want to bring a small pocket knife.

The apartment itself is very comfortable for 5 people, centrally located (near shopping street, great bars and clubs) -
The hotel was in very good location. The stuff was very kind, Murat, the owner, was very helpful, give us all needed information. We stayed 5 persons in two bedroom apartment, and the apartment was very comfortable, clean. It is great for young people, close to istikal street, taksim, all good location to see and visit. We definetly would stay in this hotel.

followed up prior to our arrival as to how we would be commuting from

This hotel was fantastic from the moment we arrived until we left. The
rooms are very cosy and beatifully designed if a little small. The
facilities in the room are top class and even though it is a 4 storey
building it has an elevator. We would like to thank the management staff
who were extremely polite and helpful during our stay. Furthermore the
location is perfect, it is very close to Galata tower which is in my
opinion the best location in Istanbul with small cobbled streets and
beautiful
