This is a fantastic hotel if you want to stay in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. The hotel is a few minutes walk to all the sights and in a quiet street. The staff are all excellent and very kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the view on the terrace is great. The rooms are comfortable and the cleaning staff are meticulous! Ask for a room with a water view if you can!

The value and quality of our "apartment" was better than most of the best hotels we have stayed at around the world. Very good apartments. Clean rooms with new furniture: beds for adults and a child, wardrobe, table, chairs, etc. Kitchen corner, frige, gas cooker, cups, plates, and utensils.The apartmants are in the old part of Istanbul, 20-25 min walk to Hagia Sophia. 5 min to the sea embankment, a fish market and fish restaurants. Frendly personnel fluent in English and Russian (special thanks to Yildiz!).
Very well for family tourism.

The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA. Don't be put off by the buildings in the area, the hotel was the best we stayed in, throughout our trip to Turkey. -

Me and my husband had an absolutely fantastic treat from the time we got to the hotel to the time we took off again. The atmosphere was super nice, quiet and comfortable and we felt at home from the very 1st second we entered the door where Emir welcomed us. We booked a rather large room so we enjoyed the spacy room. Konak is within a short walk of the Istanbul Congress Centre as well as the subway, tram and Taksim Square. The staff were really helpful and there was usually someone around speaking English. Good breakfast and reasonable restaurant. Very nice bathrooms.
