I'zaz was a fantastic small hotel tucked away on the side street off a major shopping, eating and nightlife area of the city. There was no end of things to do and see within walking distance of the hotel. Because it only has four rooms, the advice and personal care of the hotel owner was fantastic! -

The hotel is beautifully designed, very class with baroque-style furnishings which I love. The helpful and friendly staff especially Ms Begum Girgin is amazing who emailed us a welcome letter prior to our arrival and assisted us in anything we needed at the hotel and our city trips. Everyone else made us welcomed in the hotel, as the way they envision to impress their guests. Everything! it was not a single issue that the simpathic guys on the reception didn't solve it! They said on all our request 'YES'. The rooms were clean, the breakfest untill 11, the location is very good and easy to reach with a fast & direct tram that cost 1,5 euro, to all important sights! I have been in Istanbul many times and i can easily compare with other places, so...definitely i will recomande this one! and...the price = best deal! :)

hotel: at the airport, take the shuttle bus that takes you to Taksim
Square, when you arrived in the square, cross and take the main street

We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. Elizabeth was great!!! There is a cage downstairs when she hang out. So you just call them and they will be waiting for u with the keys.
The location is awesome! Literally 1 min from the Main Street and 15 min slow walk from the buses stop.
The apt is really modern and has everything you need.
The only downside is that there's no lift so 5th floor we stayed at is a bit hard to reach after a night out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chiconomy Suites. Mehmet is extremely professional, accommodating to guests, and very prompt in getting back to emails. The hotel transfer from Sabiha was prompt and reasonably priced for a family of four (50 euro). The location is very convenient (walking distance) to Taksim, Istiqlal St., Galata Tower. Finally, the apartment was clean and the interior furnishings new and attractive. We will be coming back!
