Very clean hostel, confortable beds in the dorms, with all facilities a backpacker needs: light and plugs for computer near to the bed, excellent shower, bathroom within the dorms (which is unsual in many hostels). Good - The hostel is great! One of the best hostels I have ever seen. Location is amazing, staff is incredibly helpful. Deniz, the manager of the hostel, knows each and every guest by name! And it might be ridiculous but people staying there are really nice and interesting. Even though I was not traveling alone I met some new friends there.   This is a large appartment on the 3rd floor split into various rooms. Larger rooms are mainly equipped with domitory beds while the smaller ones have double beds. The location is excellent, very close to all main sites and the t1 tram line. The rooms are clean. The brekfast is very good. Mr. Ali sent me a map prior to arrival. There is a large sign nex - Fun, lively, friendly and welcoming staff. Very comfy beds, yummy breakfast, clean and good showers. Castle Hostel is very near to the Blue Mosque so you can just pop there after dinner to enjoy some salep and the buzz. We felt home and definitely stay there next time we go to Istanbul.

  It was our second stay in Istanbul, and since we were not very happy with the first one, I was very careful choosing our accommodation. So for almost the same price we got MUCH, much better place which I can call even perfect comparing to the first one. Location was just excellent. I also enjoyed food and service at their( optimist) cafe .the appartment is clean and tidy. But the most important thing was the owners bahadir and mohamet and their staff especially ikut who were available at any time for any inqiuries or help.
