as the bustling ferry port, Ayia Sofia and Blue Mosque area, Bazaars,
Topkapi and other museums. Wide choice of breakfast, served on terrace
with superb views over Bosphorus and the city. Friendly, efficient
staff; clean modern facilities. Although located on tram route, street
noise was not a problem.

Of all the places we stayed in Istanbul, Hagia Sophia Apartment was the
best. The highly educated English speaking host and owner Mr. Selami was
very friendly and helpful. We were warmly received. He was kind enough
to carry our heavy luggage to the second floor. The apartment is located
in a quiet neighborhood in the Old City, 50m away from the Kadirga Park,
which is surrounded by supermarkets and restaurants. He gave us a
detailed Istanbul map and showed us all the tourist attractions which

The moment I walked in I knew this was going to be an amazing place to stay. It is run by a family who rents out 2 hotel style rooms above their house. The first time you arrive they are there to greet you with Tea and cookies. The place is clean and well put together, in a great location of Istanbul. I have traveled in 20 countries and this is hands down one of the best places I have ever stayed in.

The receptionist was extremely helpful from the day we arrived: from providing us many info regarding the city to helping us calling the airport shuttle to confirm our reservation. There was always people in the receptionist area to ensure if we needed to inquire anything someone was there. Amazing hospitality!

Surpassed my expectations - huge bathroom with bathtub, flowers on
my bed, large room, friendly hotel owner, very reasonable price. I
had a very relaxing stay and felt very safe even though I was a solo
female traveler.
On my last day, I left my passport at the hotel and did not realize it until I was at the airport. I quickly called the hotel and the owner swiftly assured me that he had asked a very kind Romanian couple who were headed to the airport to hand me my passport. I got the passport
