i loved the omelette show at breakfast.the staff was very nice and friendly. the historical places are so close, it is very convinient:) i love this hotel.they made me feel like home with all the service they provided. the restaurant had good food.the rooms were really modern and clean,comfy.i recommend it to everyone i know.it was a great business

A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

A brand new property with very helpful and genuinely earnest staff. The rate is excellent at the moment too for a hotel of this high quality. A small but very nice indoor pool and spa area are a great bonus after a long hot day. I recently spent 5 nights in this property whilst on business in Istanbul. I would completely agree with the majority of reviews here. The highpoints of the hotel are:
a) Location - moments walk from all of the Old City attractions - Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Cistern, Grand Bazaar etc etc. It is also almost right on top of a tram line that will take

In our opinion the this was the best possible place to stay in Istanbul. The views from the dining/breakfast room were stunning. While having breakfast, we could gaze at the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sophia, the sea of Marama and many other wonderful sights. In addition to this, the hotel was only a few minutes walk from the tram stop. So we were in a perfect location not only to walk to the best of the ancient sights, but also to get the tram to other parts of the city.
