I likes the clean bathrooms and toilets, sheets and the friendly staff who went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. Especially Memet, Nayeeb and all the other reception and even security people who were always smily and friendly.

Overall hotel was good, clean and located near Kabatas tram station. Most of staff spoke English. Stayed there for 2 days but I was mostly out for sightseeing. Good value for money for tourists. -

Konak is within a short walk of the Istanbul Congress Centre as well as the subway, tram and Taksim Square. The staff were really helpful and there was usually someone around speaking English. Good breakfast and reasonable restaurant. Very nice bathrooms.

The suite is a small apartment with a small kitchen opened on the living room.
Much better than a classic hotel room if you intend to spend time in your room.
Location is right on Taksim place, in front of Gezi park and Divan hotel. The downside is that it is a bit noisy with ongoing roadworks and traffic at this time. -

First, the location. Excellent, almost at the Taksim Square. If you want to see the city I highly recommend it. The hotel is nice and clean with friendly staff. The rooms were comfortable and the AC worked great! It's also in a great location - just a short walk from Taksim Square. The best part of the hotel was the staff - they literally ran through tear gas with us to help us make our way to a shuttle for an early morning flight. Beyond these mild heroics, they also were very valuable in helping us navigate the city, make plans, and were responsive to any room-related requests we had.
