Nice and clean room but too small. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent. The neighborhood looked strange at the beginning but afterwards we understood there was nothing to be afraid as it was full of hotels!
It's 10-15 minutes walking time from Aya Sofia and Blue Mosque (sultanahmet tram stop). Do not try the cemberlitas tram stop as it is uphill and tiring.
- very helpful and nice staff
- great location, but really difficult to find it for the first time (take "taksi" or call the receptionist) or ask for Small Hagia Mosque
- really tasty breakfast (wide selection and variety of food)
- small but cozy rooms
- you get everything you need for this price
- new towels and cleaning service every day.
The staff is so friendly. They try to make you feel like you were at home. The hotel is so nice and cozy. The food is good, and it's really near to all historical's places in Istanbul. I had a wonderful time over there. I have to say thanks to Mr. Polat, he's so friendly and so helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
Location was perfect.. Just few steps from all Sultanahmet (Old City) sites. Next to variety of restaurants and shops and also in walking distance from the Grand Bazar. Staff was friendly and helpful giving out lost of tips and information and hotel was clean and comfortable. Definitely value for money...
The staff were very friendly and also very helpful with any questions I
had and all information. With English being spoken. Also the home cooked
breakfast buffet was fantastic with a very good selection of foods. My
single room was small but very cozy with a very comfortable bed.
Staff is really good and helpful. They didn't charge me when I decided to move to another hotel, though had to by cancellation policy. But the problem was in my wrong choice of room while travelling with a baby (single instead of double). Clean room. Breakfast was also good.
A lovely family runs this nice and cute little hotel. I had a Clean and cozy room, a nice bed and good bathroom with hot water. Delicious breakfast everyday is included. Location is excellent, you can walk to all the amazing laces! Price was super-cheap!.
This was our first time in Istanbul. So also the first time in Altin
house. What a great hotel. Yeah it is a little bit small, nut how often
are you there? It was clean and the staff was A+++mazing! Incredible
friendly! I would sure visit there again.
It is a really lovely place, I liked it very much. The breakfast is really good, they prepared always some new.. The staff are also excellent friendly and helpful, I'm glad that I choose this hotel.
The room is 120% clean and very secure.
The stuff in the hotel are very nice, friendly and helpful. And all the rooms there are very clean and freshly decorated. I really liked my stay there and would book this hotel again if I was going to Istanbul.
Very nice personnel. The breakfast is good. The rooms are clean. The hotel is located just about 4-5 min walk from the Blue Mosque. There are some good cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops very close to the hotel.
Great location - few minute to Sultanahmet. New, fresh and modern little hotel that opened fairly recently. Decent breakfast, so all in all great value! Staff very friendly. TV, aircon, wi-fi etc.
Great location, within walking distance to the hagia sofia, the blue mosque and other major sights in the old city. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
The location of the hotel is absolutely great! It is just a walking distance from many well-known sites.
Very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast consisting of Turkish mezze,
great location and neighbourhood.
Friendly personnel; hotel is situated in 10 minutes walking from Sultanahmet; clean rooms.
Closeness to Blue Mosque, one of the main sightseeing destinations in Istanbul.
Very close to old city, rooms are new and clean, stuff helpful, fair price.
Great small hotel. Very nice staff. Quiet alley in a central location.
everthing it was nice MR SAYAM
good man nice helpful.
Great value for money. The breakfast was excellent.
Cleanliness.
My stay at this hotel was very pleasant, the room was clean with a very nice design. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a pretty good location for walking to visit various tourist attractions such as Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.
Friendly staff, good breakfast and 10min from Sultanahmet. Good price.
Really really small. We hardly fit our luggage in it.
- sliding door of the shower was broken (but it was not a big deal).
The only reason I give a small deduction on facilities is because they
have the type of energy saving device where you have to put your key tab
in to turn on electricity. The refrigerator was on same circuit, and
after a long day of sight seeing I would like to come back to a cold
beer, but this was not possible.
The single room is tiny! And the bathroom is not so good in it - floor was always wet after shower and the whole day after.
The room was quite small, and the hotel was difficult to find, so if you have a lot of luggage make sure you take a taxi or you will be very tired!.
The hotel is really hard to find. The taxi driver couldnt find it so we
asked a lot of people if they know the street, nobody didnt. There is
one hotel near Altin house called Sirma Sultan, this hotel is more
familiar. So if you can't find it ask for this one and than u sure
find Altin house.
Istanbul is anyhow difficult for a women who is alone. It was not easy to find the Hotel and some streets were a bit to quite for me..
If you like king size beds and spacious rooms this hotel is not for you. The rooms are quite small.
Can be a bit tricky to find, but with a map you should be fine. Hotel weren't marked as they we're waiting for the name display, so probably sorted by the time of his posting.
Our room for 2 was extremely small, we had problems even to fit our luggage in! There was a huge pile of rubbish in front of the entrance, which belonged to the other building, but still-
hotel should find a solution for it!.
Although new, some fittings were of poor quality (eg shower head falling
apart,...).
Very small rooms; bed smell in bathrooms.
Hard to find the location, when using public transportation. The cost of using shuttle services from the hotel to the Airport (one way) was very close to the cost of room for 1 overnight stay, which is very expensive, i.e. 25 euros.
Hard to find. But it's a plus in a way.
far from high sophe.
Not spacious enough.
It was difficult to find the hotel, no signs, no Russian channels on tv :). Bad smell in the shower.
