Le camere sono spaziose e confortevoli anche se assomigliano a degli chalet di montagna . La posizione non è centrale ma con 60/80 bath di tuk tuk si risolve il problema e Chang Rai non merita una spesa in hotel piu' alta di questa che comunque è corretta. Il ristorante è aperto solo a pranzo ed il pur ridotto menu è sufficiente per uno spuntino
Il prezzo è decisamente corretto ma I servizi sono inesistenti e le due persone che si alternano alla reception sono gentili ma le uniche che parlano un pessimo inglese . Per la presenza normale nell hotel non ci sono problemi ma se ci sono necessità particolari da affrontare allora sono dolori !

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms are fitted out just like home and very like Doi Tung, the queen mothers mountain top villa. Just outstanding. A small distance by tuk-tuk to the town centre but only 80 baht and 10 mins. Very quiet and very clean, and good fast free Wi-Fi.

the location is good, not far fm the super high way and chiang rai town. every room is a villa, big bed room, big bath room and big balcony..anyway,is a good choice to live in chiang rai.

We class this hotel as one of our Asian finds. We would come to Chiangrai just to spend time at this hotelthis hotel. It is a 10minute walk to town and because of this It was downgraded to "good" rather than "excellent". However, the perfect quietness and tranquillity more than makes up for this inconvenience. As another writer said - 50baht will get a taxi into town

Excellent staff, nice rooms and lovely pool. The hotel is not in the center of Chiang Rai, but you'll easly find tuk tuks or taxis to get you to the night bazaar or the Central shopping mall by the price of 60THB. Comfy beds and good wi-fi signal. We would probably be back to Baan Sontree if visiting Chiang Rai again in the future.

Wonderful resort, bit remote but very quiet location. Rooms are good quality and size, big beds, big screen TV, high speed internet, lovely pool etc.... Friendly staff also.
Gym has 3 cardio machines but no weights at all. Nothing much to see from TV - no english channels...or very few.

Staff confirmed our reservation twice while there was in fact no free room anymore. We especially called again to ensure it was ok but they obvisouly aren't very serious. When we arrived we had to wait a long time and argue before finally getting another room (more expensive but at the same price, so ok in the end).
Convenient location. Not downtown but close if you have transport. This makes it quiet and relaxing if you just want to chill by the pool or on your balcony. Helpful staff and good wifi connection. Also, if you want to rent a scooter (recommended), it is very convenient. The reception will make the call and Mr Soon is very friendly and provides good quality bikes. Amazing value for the price they charge.
Some staff spoke surprisingly little English given other experiences in Thailand. However, this is a minor niggle. They were helpful and friendly and always tried to work with you. Communication was achieved! Beds were well presented and clean but mattress too hard for me, but that is just personal preference. If you like a hard mattress, you will love it!
Great pool area, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good. Very good value hotel for the services offered.
