A tiny hamlet perched high on the side of a very steep valley. Snow capped mountains in front and to the side. Picture perfect Swiss hamlet backed by snow capped peaks to the left. Wonderful sitting outside listening to the bells and soaking in the views. Happy host anxious to help. Wifi in public - The area around Visp is ideal as a base to visit the Rhone valley and adjacent peaks. Zermatt, Saas-fee, Aletsch Glacier, Sierre, Crans-Montana all are inside 1 hour from Visp by car. Although Zeneggen requires a 15 minute climb through a steep and narrow road (not recommended to inexperienced drivers), it is worth of it. Mr. Zimmermann was very nice and helpfull advising us about places to visit in the region. Excellent value for the price we paid.
