  great price, good food, lots of amazing hiking trails in the area (went in summer/autumn), friendly family feel! cant rent Via Ferrata gear from here (best experience ever!) - I liked the splendid mountain location, the unique self service shop, the friendly staff and the restaurant, especially the daily backpacker budget meal.

Helpful staff and they speak excellent English. The hostel is very new with good facility. Very cozy room and common area. Dinner supplied not really expensive taking the price of food in Switzerland into account. But if you don‘t want to pay, you can bring your own stuff and a microwave oven is provided for free. Everything is very clean.

  staff are very friendly, providing useful info and patient to answer questions. Wifi is good. There are recreations facilities and television to watch in public areas. They provide breakfast.   Fantastic atmosphere and great staff. I felt I've got really personal service. I had domitory room for single use. Location is obviously one of the best assets of hostel. Bachlapsee is almost around the corner. I was woken up by cows bells and was shocked to see snow outside (in August). Views from breakfast room were breathtaking. I will recommend this hotel to all - attentive staff who worked well together - all seemed fluent in several languages; dorm had ten beds separated by walls at intervals for added privacy (4-2-4 if i remember right); food very tasty; magnificent views from the terrace

  I can't fault this place. My room on the 5th floor was the best 'shared bathroom' private room that I've ever had. It was bright, spotless, and with all the trimmings that you usually find in a 5-star hotel including sumptuous down bedding. The shared bathrooms are also spotlessly clean and the shower excellent.
