The location of the hotel was great! The view of the Eiger and Monch are fabulous. Our room had two bedrooms which was perfect for our family of four. The bigger room had a balcony looking out over the valley and mountains. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was nice. Great place as a home base for hiking or skiing. The hotel is right in the centre of Meiringen, with shops and a few restaurants nearby. It has good WiFi access, and free outdoor parking behind the hotel. Breakfast was OK, with fresh bread, fruit, cheese and some fruit. One could boil some eggs yourself if required.

The apartment was perfect for our family group. We stayed for a week and
never got tired of the excellent views from the balcony! The breakfast
was a short walk away but this didn't matter as it was excellent
quality. It was also really useful to have a washing machine and kitchen
facilities so we saved a lot of money there.

We stayed in the AlpenRose Haus and our veiw of the lakes and mountains were stunning. The hotel is the most kid friendly we have stayed at in our 5 years of living in Europe. We had a toddler bed set up on arrival and a kiddie bath kit with toys and a duck body cloth. And the price was amazing. Thank you.

Good location for relax. mountains with snow, grass,flowers and trees, fresh air, quiet and peaceful enough. An excellent place to stay. The waitress and waiter there were very kind. Jonh was very kind. He's playing guitar when we arrived there. It was really romantic at that moment.
