I really enjoyed my stay at Edelweiss hotel.
Firstly is situated in the delightful town of Wengen - in the heart of the Jungfrau. The town has spectacular views of the mountains, which was quite breathtaking as I made the short walk from the train station to the hotel.

Daniel, the hotel manager was simply the most hospitable person ever! My
wife and I unfortunately did not pack any winter clothes and we
happenned to arrive during their first snow in over 30 years. Daniel let
us borrow some of us winter clothes for our stay which saved us and
allowed us to enjoy all that this beautiful area had to offer. He spent
some time when we first arrived, giving us a tour of the property and
explaining how all of the trains/aerial cable cars worked. It really
felt like

The location of the hotel was great! The view of the Eiger and Monch are fabulous. Our room had two bedrooms which was perfect for our family of four. The bigger room had a balcony looking out over the valley and mountains. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was nice. Great place as a home base for hiking or skiing. As we frequently stayed around here, the hotel is strategically located. The staffs waited for us quite late as we arrive late and very friendly with good English. The breakfast is good with nice atmosphere. The hotel itself is also good and recommended for travelllers want to travel in Swiss Alps and mountains nearby as hotels are expensive around here.

the hotel is very authentic and simple. great location- right next to brientz lake, 5 minutes drive on a bus from interlaken, so we enjoyed the quiet. they gave us a card that gives us free bus drives to interlaken. very clean! super comfortable beds! -

Friendly staff; restaurant staff speak limited english but she did try to help. Very nice scenary, got a room with balcony which I love very much. The guy (I forgot to ask his name) who serve us breakfast was very attentive and friendly too - Excellent position, next to the station; well-equipped room with balcony.
