  Despite the fact that there wasn't a lift, the young kitchen hand took our very heavy suitcases up to our room. The staff also took our luggage to the station for us (it was only a short distance, but the footpath was wet and slippery on that morning). The room was excellent and well appointed. Having a restaurant on site that served excellent foo... cosa dice la gente » d was a great advantage. They also provided wireless and internet access and were able to print out our rail tickets. The staff and proprietress were - We enjoyed the welcome, the beautifully cooked evening meals, including a lovely crocodile Thai soup! Delicious. It was part of some Australian specials. There were also many Swiss dishes on the menu. The breakfast buffet was good with perfectly cooked boiled eggs. The location was perfect for train to Wengen or to drive to other places. Ursula was very attentive as we're all her staff. The bedrooms were good and the beds extremely comfortable. Very clean. We will return in the spring.

  Great value! The Roessli is a family owned hotel with a traditional Swiss ambiance. The hotel is perfect for those travelers who prefer a unique experience in lieu of the cookie-cutter room design and impersonal service we have to put up with at hotel chains. The location is marvelous, with great views of the Alps and very close to the lakes. Jean-Louis (the owner) and his son Christopher are most friendly andwelcoming hosts. My room had tv, en-suite facilities and a balcony(recently refurbished) with excellent views of the Jungfrau. Wifiinternet access is available in all rooms for Sfr10/hour.

  Excellent place to stay....and outsatding people(staff).The owner the manger they will make you to feel like home .They are excellent with kids.Place & location is amazingly good........room & facilities is superb.......... with great view for kids and family this place is like home away home.You can enjoy the mountain ,easy accessbility ... cosa dice la gente » to travell anywhere.This is place you want to be with your family & kids............ - The staff was very helpful, they gave me free bus passes for the city bus. Told me exactly how to get to several waterfalls. Extremely friendly and the cheapest place I could find in the area.
