  The hotel was cheap and offer good free facilities. The best was a warm sauna after a long car journey with terrible weather. Breakfast was good, in a nice area. - Very friendly and helpful staff, good location in the city centre, free coffee and sauna in the hotel, nice patio to eat outside

  Quite near to the main station, clean nice rooms. Breakfast was good. Iron and iron board in the room was amazing idea. - Quite Central, easy to find. Good for business travelers. Nice breakfast, very friendly staff.

  The Hotell Valsaren is a good hotel and certainly a better choice than yet another budget chain hotel. But it's a quirky kind of place. Location is excellent, central in Västerås, yet close to the highway. The hotel is in a converted building in an industrial area. Staff is very friendly and open. Even in evening there is food for free (sandviches, tea, coffee, cookies, fruits). Rooms are rather big and comfortable (and clean). The place itself is a kind of industrial factory, which became a creative cluster.
