it's a small hotel, not looks like the night time picture of hotel. 3 km from main city and bentota hotel beach which is the main happening place.
Romantic rooms, everything was clean, nice swimming pool and good quality restaurant. It's a 5 min walk from the beach.

Very nice, quiet place with swimmingpool and ayurvedic massage possibilities. Friendly and helpfull staff who provided many nice trips. My sons want me to recommend the jet-ski, but there were many things to do and see. Beach close-by but luckily the hotel was not too close to the busy Galle-road.
Television was switched on all the time in the restaurant, but the staff did lower the volume when we asked to. Train close by, but actually I liked it: the train doesn't pass very often and a very nice crossing (with a kind man to help you crossing with a green/red flag).

Spacious and cozy rooms, well-groomed territory, swimming pool presence. It seems that the owner of the hotel is a European. The staff does their best to correspond with the European level of service. Not far from the Villa there is a nice coastal restaurant Awanhala Beach restaurant.
Unvaried breakfast – bacon and eggs, fruits and bread (though it’s the same in many other places in Sri-Lanka). The hotel is located far from the Beach and Bentota so it’s necessary to take a tuk-tuk to go there or to walk along the road with busy traffic.
Simply saying, we had a perfect holiday! The room was very spacious and clean with a big balcony. The staffs were so nice and friendly. Pool was nice and spacious with a clean and silent surrounding. The restaurant had a good menu where food was tasty and was not expensive. Though the breakfast was one we look forward to everyday. It was so very tasty and you could keep eating even if you know that you are almost full. We were also allowed to go to the Hotel Wunderbar's private beach which is like 5 mins away from Tuk Tuk. They would provide sun beds and beach towels, the bar is open too. And it was very kind of Panchi that they always had a Tuk Tuk to take us anywhere at anytime. We loved our stay at Panchi and would love to go again! :)
Well there is nothing actually, but we did not like the sound of the train always which passes by very often.

I did not like the fact that there are only a few tv channels from which we have to choose from we have ask ramit to change channel's from the reception .please make sure that you have all channels in all rooms
Everything! Panchi Villa was a beautiful retreat for our week's stay in Bentota. The staff, food, rooms, pool and overall service was fantastic.
Everything, it was perfect! Staff were excellent, extremely attentive and friendly, would do anything for you. Room was lovely, spotlessly clean and small details of flowers on bed every morning was lovely. Pool area was relaxing and clean and food was lovely and good value for money. Would recommend to anyone!

Very relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings
Small comfortable hotel. Very spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpfull staff. We organized all our trips within the island throug the hotel at good price and excellent service (ask for Jack ;-)). They offer shuttle tuk-tuk service to neighbouring cities at really good rate. Excellent, clean and big (6 x 12 m) swiming pool. Excellent restaurant within the hotel. Reasonable prices of food and drinks (for all week we used only hotel restaurant).
In our romm there was excess humidity (smell), but we have accustomed ;-).

The first floor rooms are very large comfortable bed clean. Food good pleasant small resurant. Staff were helpful good pool very attractive garden.
ground floor room we were given was very small huge wardrobe but all shelves no where to hang clothes. The staff are a bit to layed back.
In general the hotel is ok, not more nor less, but what I really loved was the location. It was cozy and felt a little jungle like, but we only had to walk a minute or so to get to the beach that was was more or less deserted. We felt like a king and queen having the most beautiful beach to ourselves. There was a restaurant/bar that provided sun beds right at the beach front. Just a hundred rupee tuk tuk ride from the hotel is Amal restaurant. The best restaurant we visited in our stay in Sri Lanka (which included Matara, Unawatuna, Galle, Hikkaduwa, Bentota and Negombo).
No individual safety boxes in the rooms. Brownish colored tap water. Even though they did have lots of TV channels in the restaurant and reception, we only had two channels in the room (DW and RT). In our two weeks in Sri Lanka, we ate at lots of different restaurants, but only Panchi Villa's restaurant served us the wrong dish, not once, but twice.
Breakfast Ok, as was choice/price for dinner. apart from Trains, very peaceful location. Best for 2-3 days stay especially off season.
Bathroom was 'dated' and smelled damp, as did the towels. A/C outside door broken and noisy, so little sleep. Very close to train line & quite a distance from Restaurants / Shops & Bars in Bentota - need to use a tuk tuk or transport. No kettle/Tea Coffee facilities in room. TV only working on 1 channel. No Hot water from shower.

Staff is not customer satisfaction oriented. Beach is not clean, you need to go little bet far for clean beach. Internet Wi-Fi is very, very poor and staff told me to set in balcony whenever I need to go online. All tourist services offered are overpriced.
