Hotel La Fonda is situated just off Plaza Espana in Benalmadena Pueblo. There are several excellent restaurants near by and no shortage of good places to eat. Transport from Malaga Airport is easy by taking the Fuengirola train to Benalmadena and then the 121 Mijas bus to the Pueblo. The hotel is about 400 metres from the bus stop. We stayed for two nights in July 2013 and found the hotel perfect for our needs. The room was clean and had a mini fridge and kettle which we did not expect and parking was very easy and close by. There was an extensive choice for breakfast including some hot dishes freshly cooked to order. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially on reception who went out of their way to provide information and maps of the area. We would certainly stay there again and would recommend this hotel

Went with my sister and mum for a girls holiday and we all found the hotel to be very clean, rooms were nice with excellent views, staff were helpful and polite, food was very good, entertainment was good, atmosphere within hotel was very good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will go back again (my mum has been several times before).

provide for recurring visitors, the friendly environment, the
exclusivity the staff offer to each and every visitor since it is such a
small hotel. The fact they remembered us from our previous visit. The

This hotel has it all, location, seaview, modern, design, friendly staff, good food, value for money, clean, free wfi. etc....This was definatly the best 4 star i stayed at during my 3 weeks Costa del sol tour. 10/10 - Was only there two days bandb and weather was horrendous so actuallycannot comment, but hotel and staff were very good.

Really caters for over 55s helpful to those with mobility problems at buffet dinner.Nothing I too much trouble.The salsa lessons and dancing were a nice surprise.Food top quality they even had scotch pancakes at breakfast.Drop scones to everyone else.Parking just up side streets free.WIfi very handy.Very clean hotel and toiletries replaced daily.S

The fridge in the room - Peace and quiet, no night time noise. Food was very good, wide choice! Impressed with the pool area. Staff were very friendly, helpful and effecient. Situated very close to the railway station.
