  As suggested by its Basque name (which was translated to me by a local to mean "a beautiful place"), an absolutely beautiful location on top of a hill, with a view of a small bay and a beacon.   Superb value for money, a 2 minute walk from a beautiful beach surrounded by mountains in a small bay. I was travelling with 2 small dogs and it's not always easy to find pet-friendly hotels but they were so accommodating and helpful.   Javier who was the point of contact and person in charge at Pension was one of the highlights of the entire trip to San Sebastian. He was very helpful telling us exactly where to go to get a round and had a great sense of humor. We had a great stay at Pension and have already recommended a number of friends to stay there!
