We arrived on Friday late night (around 1:30 am) , the owner was waited for us and make us feel like pleasure and convenience. The suite room we got was beautiful with great view and huge space.
During our all staying Miriam from the reception helped with very useful recommendations and great tips for places to visit and restaurants to eat.

The room was really spacious with a lovely view of the town and countryside. The lady on recpetion was wonderful. The whole place smelled great and there was a lovely communal sitting room. It was a great place for us to spend our first anniversary. Although we only stayed one night, it's in a great location for Bilboa airport and you could easily do a day trip to San Sebastian or into other countryside areas. We just found it really relaxing and a nice welcoming place to stay.

The lodging is in a vineyard in a beautiful setting near Bakio bay. The
inn is also beautiful, with great attention to detail, comfortable,
inviting. There's a private path through the property down to the
road that goes to the beach. The owner, who also owns and manages the
adjacent boutique winery, is friendly and helpful, with amazing energy.

We stayed in Basarte for a week and we liked almost everything. The
location is excellent: it is near the mountains but within walking
distance to the beach, so you can enjoy hot sun for the day and cool air
for the night. The room was impeccably clean with a very comfy bed and a
view to the mountain. The owners are two sisters who are very friendly
and hospitable. I'd absolutely recommend to try their own wine,
it's light crispy and delicious, we've even took a couple of
bottles home. If we go

Setting of hotel breath taking. Design of hotel traditional but in first class order. Room very comfortable with modern fittings. Breakfast great value and if you want an evening meal also great value. Best of all - the staff who were professional and couldn't be more helpful. The invitation to make ourselves feel at home! The staff were so helpful, the stylish hotel was very comfortable and spacious and the outside views were spectacular.
We even had a picnic one evening which we bought from the hotel vending machine and washed it down with the wine we had left from the previous evening's meal!! Perfect chill out place

Lovely hosts, family atmosphere, beautiful house with a lot of wood,
very clean, great view on beautiful hilly countryside, great location to
reach Bilbao, airport, coast, estuary. You need of course a car and it
is an advantage if you speak some Spanish as the hosts do not speak
English. All in all, we loved it! -

This is my second time at the hotel and the owners were so lovely! I am vegetarian and they took care to prepare me special delicous vegetarian meals everyday! Kepa also showed me the vegetable patch this time. We were also invited to watch as he trimmed the sheep's coats!! The couple are really warm and welcoming.
As always, the place is beautiful, a real gem :) Also renovations have been done so its bigger and nicer.

We had a flat tire while staying at the hotel and the staff was very cooperative about helping us get it changed and taking us to a tire repair shop to get us back on the road. THis was above and beyond the call of duty. My thanks to the receptionist and the technician.

We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful (and
spoke excellent English). The room was so homey-it was nice to go out in
the rain and go "home" to a warm and comfortable room. The
heaters worked quickly and the room was large and clean. The breakfast
in the morning was good-tea/coffee and an assortment of bread
products (and fruit and yogurt, if desired). We wish we had more time to
explore Bilbao and stay in this comfortable hotel. We found it to be
