  We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was fantastic to wander through. The heat was on, there was a hair dryer for me to use, they even had an electric kettle and tea sitting in our room - It was excellent in all ways * it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !! I d stay there again ~~)

  The Hospederia was an old Hospital for Pilgrams and a monastery. It has been fixed up with rooms. The staff were helpful. The rooms clean as well as the bathhrooms. The breakfasts were routine buffet style and more than adequate. I had one meal ( lunch) in the dining room. They serve a Menu del Dia. It is close to the cathedral and having completed the Camino de Compestela it was a good place to unwind without ha - I liked everything! It's right beside the Cathedral. The building itself is beautiful, the rooms are basic but very clean. Breakfast was lovely, all staff were very helpful. The city is Santiago is beautiful, it's definitely a place I will go back to and would recommend it to everyone. There's such a good atmosphere there, everyone is relaxed and friendly.

  Excellent I feel is a very rate for this hotel. However I would certainly rate it higher than average. A rate of 4.5 I feel would be a more accurate rate. I enjoyed my stay at your hotel.   We stayed as a family of 4 at the Montes Pension Boutique as a city break to Santiago in July. The location is perfect, just around the corner from the cathedral and main square.
