The apartment was great for a group of 6 people (2 couples and 2 friends). It was situated perfectly for shopping and eating. It was easy to find and communication with the staff was excellent as well. If you not use to city life, then this may not be for you. The Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, Modernista Barcelona with the Gaudi masterpieces and Joan Miro art, the plazas and markets, Roman ruins, the parks, waterfront and mountains, all very accessible with the excellent metro system and fantastic tourist bus made our 5 day trip one of the most interesting holidays I have ever had. The place is close to mediaeval villages of the region,close to Dali places of interest, a lot of possibilites for active holidays(great horse-riding, cycling, hiking, swimming-10 minute drive to the wonderful seaside).
There is a part of mine I left or found, it's the place I have to return. -
Mas Rabiol is a lovely old converted and extended farm dwelling in secluded countryside with small pool in large grounds. It is tastefully furnished and old worldly, there is a living room for guests and could be described as 'home from home'. The breakfast was very good. If you want to stay somewhere a little bit special and off the beaten track, then this is the place.

Excellent apartment in a perfect location just a half block from La Rambla. Apartment was very nice, clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed. Had a lift and seemed to be a safe neighborhood. Located on a quiet side street, but close to stores, restaurants, and the great La Boqueria market. The Metro is very close and really the apartments are in a great central location to get around Barcelona.
The staff was responsive and very helpful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apt in #20.
