Beautiful decorated interiors, lovely garden, quiet area, but most of all a very personal welcome and warm hospitality by the owners. A lot of attention for all details, and excellent dining! Also our three daughters of 7, 11 and 12 yrs old liked this hotel very much.

There are only 25 rooms in this hotel, so the service was superb. We were addressed on a first-name basis by the staff (great job Javier, Wim, and Ignacio!) We felt extremely welcome and appreciated. The location was unbeatable - 2 minutes to Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Rooms were comfortable, efficient, and sleekly designed - and the extra "salon" was a bonus. We also enjoyed the 24-hour complimentary cafe and the personalized breakfast.

The Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, Modernista Barcelona with the Gaudi masterpieces and Joan Miro art, the plazas and markets, Roman ruins, the parks, waterfront and mountains, all very accessible with the excellent metro system and fantastic tourist bus made our 5 day trip one of the most interesting holidays I have ever had. The Hotel is beautiful,but there were very few large bath towels, no
small wash clothes and no extra pillows. Also we checked in at 10:00 am
and left our bags since our mini suites were not ready. We gave our
passport copies, our credit cards and all info, but when we came back at
5 pm from sightseeing,our bags were still not brought to our rooms. We
were 3 couples and were exhausted. They said they needed another

was spotlessly clean (a fetish of mine!) and sits on a hillside with an
incredible view of the sea. Although we didn't use the pool, it was
