  We stayed on the upper floor where floor level windows provide you with a stunning view of the hills around Cuenca - though you'll have to lie down to enjoy it. It's located right on the edge of the old town, high up on a rugged ridge: you reach the medieval center walking downhill (couple hundred yards), but save some energy for the return trip. ... cosa dice la gente » Some free parking is available right in front of the lodge, and lots of it ca. 300 yards away - a walk which offers you the best possible view on old - Located at the top of the old town with great views over facing the North gorge. Free parking across the street. Good kitche with washing maching. Large room. Owner was very helpful. We did a leaisurely 2 hour walk by starting at the lookout parking area just above the top gate which is just above the apartments and wound down the south gorge area and then across the church plaza and down then the north gorge area to the bottom of town. We walked up but a bus runs often up the hill.

  Great location. A studio rather than one bedroom apartment but very comfortable. Short walk to town square and heaps of fabulous walks thru rambling cobbled streets and lane ways. Lots and lots of steps and slopes so make sure you have walking shoes. Loved Cuenca! - The room had a wonderful view and lovely facilities

  The apartment was very well equipped and decorated, and very comfortable throughout our stay. For exploring the old town of Cuenca, or Cuenca Nueva or the countryside trails, the location was perfect. Lola made us feel completely welcome from our arrival and was extremely helpful during our 3-night stay - which was excellent.
