  Location, as we had a rented car and we could travel everywhere by car, but I saw a lot of restaurant nearby anyway. Apartments with basically but sufficiently equipped kitchen,everyday cleaning. The aparthotel has its own carpark (car is recommended as the hotel is not in the centre, approx. 15 min. walk but a few shops and a supermarket nearby). Good starting point for travelling all around the island.

  The hotel is great value for money. The apartments are larger than others I have stayed in the same area. We had an amazing view of the sea from our room, which was spotless. There are 2 pools, the smaller one is nice and quiet so we always went to this one. Also if people are reserving the beds with towels reception come out and take their towels, this was great and reserving beds is so annoyin - Lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. Bar staff were great, Marcelo & Jaen were very welcoming and were great entertainment. Domingo runs the restaurant, he is a fine chef and I would recommend you try the restaurant during your stay. Poolside is covered by a super nice guy Cecilio. More than a lifeguard, he would entertain and teach the kids card tricks and give the adults fitness tuition. Always one to hold an interesting conversation with.

Really good transport links (you can get just about anywhere on the island from the local bus station) and San Marcos has a nice beach and is within walking distance.
