  La casa e la padrona di casa - The Gentleman who received us (Family of 6 ) although he wasn't on duty for the remainder of our stay, he was extremely helpful, pleasant and understood and spoke english very well. The others were pleasant. The location was very close to Parc Guell. The kids liked the pool. - Small and very welcoming.

  La Flor de Gaudi is the best hostel I´ve ever been! Everything is very clean; showers, rooms, sheets, beds ... The couple that runs the hostel is so kind and take care of every guest! The localization is awesome, just 3 minuts of Parc Güell and 15 minutes walking to the majority of Gaudi monuments.   It was a great apartment, about 2 mins from the metro station, not even a 10minute walk to Park Guell and if you want to walk to the city, it took us about 20mins...so very close. The man who checked us in was very nice and also gave us loads of information about what to do and see in Barcelona and also the surroundings. The accomodation is close to the metro, at a few stops away from the city centre, but in a very quiet road that let us sleep with open windows. If you want you can have a drink nearby too. The furnishings are basic but everything is kept spotlessly clean. There are plenty of shops close by to buy basic food requirements but not really any decent places to eat. It isnt in the centre of town but it is very close to the main line on the metro which is a 10 min ride away from the centre of town. Overall more than what you need if you plan to be out all day

  We stayed in 3 bedroom duplex. Very comfortable, spacious with a lot of facilities. The apartment was cleaned once during our stay. Location is fine, near Park Güell, but be aware that it takes over 30 minutes to reach Cuitadella (beach) station by Metro. A few facilities were not working, but on our request were fixed the next day. The sofa bed was comfortable and the apartment was a good size. There was also a dishwasher and a washing machine which was handy. There was also a local Condis convenience store few doors down which helped and the local El Carmel me to station was 10 minutes walk down the road
