  Absolutely loved everything about this place. On arrival the staff were incredibly helpful. The apartment was immaculately clean, very spacious for 5 of us, and of a high standard. We're approximately 10 metres from The main square and from the main night club where we spent our time!   The personal it´s very kind and friendly, and they were always very helpful, specially the owner of the hotel. He always very willing to help and advise me to move more easily around the city. The hotel's location is excellent, just 3 minutes walk from the metro station Sol and just 1 min. Walk from metro Opera. Rooms were small but cosy, and with plenty of space to put your luggage/stuff, big tables (if you want to use your laptop etc), minifridge. With the windows closed there is no problem with the noise from the busy street on which it is located.

  Fantastic location (you can walk everywhere from there), perfect facilities and lots of kitchen utensils, excellent and efficient staff, easy check in/check out process, extremely clean, amazing terrace, no noise and black out blinds for great sleep. On the 7th floor (with a lift) so although in the middle of everything it was very quiet. If you didn't close the blinds you can see the sky whilst lying in bed, nice.Fully equiped kitchen.   First of all the location is perfect. You are just minutes away on foot from the Palace, Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. Gran Via is almost next to the building, as well as the shopping street. You have restaurants next to the building and more a few minutes walking away. Couple of metro stations are close to the building. We had a beautifu - Raquel made the check-in procedure smooth and straight-forward. She has been very professional and welcoming.   For what we paid we were expecting so much less. Great place, surely going back if passing by the city. Only problem, no hair dryer. I didn't ask at the reception desk cause i was already under the shower when i noticed, they might offer some though, upon request, I don't know. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, very clean, have all necessary facilities such as lockers, table, chairs, pegs. Staff is really helpful: they can advise you good and cheap restaurants nearby and make a reservation for you. Continental breakfast for guests is served each morning.

  First of all, the location of the hostel is great, being located in the heart of Madrid, a few minutes away from Gran Via and all the cultural places. Also it is really easy to arrive from the airport. The room was very clean and quiet. Next, the staff was young, professional, very friendly and with good communication skills (they spoke English - The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!

  The proprietor/manager, Eddie Stella, was extremely helpful and accomodating. He stayed up till 2am to check us in when we were driving up from Sevilla. The location of the apartments is absolutely the best in Madrid. It has onsite parking with direct elevator access to the apartments/rooms - a rarity with many apartments in Europe. Staff very helpful, would stay there again.
