Wonderful stay. Central location in the beautiful and charismatic Gothic quarter, walking distance to Las Ramblas and the beach.Very friendly owners, provided with useful information and map. Also requested flight details so could greet us when we arrived, and provided very useful directions and map from Airport. Also free Wifi. Would highly recommend Mapamundo, thanks for a loverly hostel.

The staff are extremely friendly, always smiling and willing to help, the rooms were cleaned every day, they made us feel very welcome and clearly made an effort for us to be comfortable. Great Value, Excellent location 100 yds, in a Lane from The Rambla, very clean with fresh paint, and a good size bedroom and bathroom, also fridge, staff were helpful. Value for money. It is a student house which works as the hotel over the summer, so as expected the room was basic, but it had everything I need like private kitchen and bathroom. So yes it is basic but cheap, clean and in good conditions and only 15 minutes walking to the beach. -

The room info given by the recidencia campus del mar is accurate. You get what they promise. Location was with in walking distance from the city center. Also a bus connection (bus 17) is near by. Staff is helpfull. The room was cleaned daily, even on weekend.

Everything. Very convenient location - less than 5 minutes from the beach. About 5 minutes walk to the L4 metro station. Tons of restaurants and small shops in the streets. Quiet place if no sport matches take place on the stadium near by. The interior was very nice, cleaners cleaned every morning and it looked fresh every time we came back from the beach. Here you have everything you need: kitchen, laundry, cells for you things, Internet, useful information about city sights and free excursions, different events. The staffs are really helpfull. The rooms are clean, cute and comfortable. I am not get use to stay in hostel but this hostel i didnt feel myself uncomfortable. The hostel is close to The Rambla Street and it is really close to metro station.

It was our first time in Bcn. Staying at Backpackers House Bcn make us feel like home. Its location very in the city center; very convenience to walk around in the city, to take a bus, to take a metro/train. The bus and metro stations are just around the corner. We want to go again to Barcelona and SURELY we will stay again at Backpacker House Bcn

Excellent positioning - 2 min on foot from a shopping
area/Starbucl/Universitat Metro and max 10-15 min on foot from
Placa de Catalunya and La rambla. It saves you a lot of time if you want
to visit places and don't like to spend too much time in the subway
or with your map trying to see where the nearest subway is. The
personell is very nice and the places looks pretty well.

We enjoyed our stay here! Very homely and the staff we very accommodating especially with all our tourist questions. Very close to Las Ramblas and all the fun. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to do Barcelona on the cheap. -
