  This hostal is a converted apartment covering the first floor of the building.It has managed to retain many of the original features and character. The rooms at the front have balconies looking out onto the Ramblas Cataluyna. It is within walking distance of La Rambla and very close to the metro and buses to all the other attractions. The manager was very welcoming and helpful. - The location is ideal for exploring the city on foot.It is next to The Passeig De Gracia and very close to Las Ramblas.Extremely friendly staff that helped us orginize our trip.Our room (Nr 8) was spacious,clean,comfortable and very quiet.There are many options around the hostal for eating,shopping and many more.There was hot water and very strong wifi signal all the time.It was generally very well organized with door codes and everything needed provided before we had even arrived!

  Overall, we had a great vacation and we enjoyed our stay at Castro . the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to offer help and answer our questions, perfect place for families, the location is perfect near two metro stations, we loved it and I recommend this for families. - Great place!   BcnStop is a centrally located decent compact accomodation probably less than 10 minutes walk down to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. The neighbourhood is rather safe and pleasant. That said, one should never let their guard down wherever they are and however safe the area seems. Wasn't bothered about it.
