The staff at Numancia, especially the man on the front desk the majority of the time are excellent. All our needs were met and any requests were willing to be accommodated including leaving our luggage there for a whole day (as our train trip was at night). We were even allowed to hang out at the hostel and use the wifi and bathrooms! -

Further to this, the location is great. Maybe 10 minute stroll to Plaza Del Sol.
The room itself was perfectly adequate. Compact but comfortable.

I really loved the location of the hostel! It's super central, easy to walk to anywhere in the city, and there are always people out and about, so it feels quite safe.
The staff was really helpful, including carrying my heavy bags up and down the stairs and helping me to arrange for a taxi to the airport at the end of my stay.

Lovely room with gorgeous little terrace, perfect for enjoying an afternoon glass of rosado! Close to metro station, but you don't necessarily need to use it as everything in the Madrid centre is within a 20min walk. Super friendly staff. Little taverna a few doors down serving excellent tapas, great beers and wine. Lidl supermarket a 2min walk away.

Perfect location for us, apartment very smart with a lovely feeling to it, very easy to stroll back to for a "siesta" before embarking out again to soak up more of Madrid and eating more of the amazing food. Brilliant coffee/cake shop 2 min from the door by the way! We had a late flight home and staff let us leave bags in a secure room in their offices 10 min stroll from apartment to pick up after taking in more of the city which was great.
