  Very friendly and responsive staff, great location just off the Ramblas, cash machine outside the door, balcony as promised - a very small one, but this is typical Barcelona style, it was good enough for 2 people to sit and enjoy some cava + jamon serrano in the wee hours... Also they let us into the room two hours early (at noon) when we arrived, and let us keep our suitcases (locked with chains) during a few hour - Location is great, just off the Ramblas between Liceu Opera House and the Boqueria Market with a metro stop (line 3) 1 minutes walk from the front door. Close to the Gothic Quarter, lots of eating places and shops. A great bakery a couple of doors down. Staff were friendly and helpful. Simple room (single bed with shower) but clean and quiet. Room facilities including a hair dryer and air con/heating unit which worked. Computer in common room with free wi-fi. Would stay here again.

  Hotel Fornos biggest advantage is the l-o-c-a-t-i-o-N. Situtated 10 M. from the Rambla and 10 M. from the clasy and cool Plaza Real I wouldn't swith Fornos for another hotel. The interior of the room is a bit old, looks like from the 80's or so but who cares as long as you are in the middle of the action. The receptionists are cool, kind and fun. ... cosa dice la gente » Breakfast a bit dull but still maximum points for Fornos from me. - It was amazing, great view, awesome room (two balconies at a room of three beds), a nice and warm welcoming, situated in a very good location, very accessible from all points of view. We loved it, we recommend it and we are looking forward to return.

Close to good restaurants and there's a small store right outside. Really good hostel if you're not planning on staying in the hotel all the time.   Staff were fantastic and very friendly. The hotel is in a perfect location and it is a great value for money. It is very clean and comfortable. Even though we had probably the smallest room it was still very comfortable and anyway we were there not to spend time in a room but to see Barcelona.
