Really lovely apartment run by wonderful staff who were very accommodating and gracious to us after a misunderstanding with payment. The owner even offered us umbrellas due to the rainy weather! Apartment is spacious, super clean and right in the heart of Old Town. It's also very close to the metro making it easily accessible by foot and public transport. I would definitely recommend Arriaga Suites!

All accommodations are simple, and I think this makes me feel like home. My room had two beds, one tv, one desk with a mirror and one bathroom. Wifi works fine and the staff were really gentle to ask if I was ok with the noise (I think they're repairing some things on my floor), or if I'd like to change my room.

Clean & cosy place to stay in with friendly and helpful staff. Good location easily accessible from Abando Station, El Corte Ingles Supermkt is just across the roundabout. It is also near the old town, just a river-across, with many authentic eateries to choose from...once fimiliar with the place, walking to Guggenheim will only take abt 10 to 15 mins

I am so happy because of this place. Personel was so kind and helpful.
Pension was always so clean. I didn't have bathroom at the room, but
it wasn't a problem at all, because it was next door and always free
when I needed. And sink was in the room. Beds were comfortable. Tv with

Pension Vista was a nice cheap place to stay for 2 nights. I just wanted somewhere to use as a base. The room was clean and the toilet and shower close by across the corridor. It was a little noisy at night and in morning as my room was above a bar. The owners were friendly and spoke a little English.

This is the second time we have stayed at Pension La Salve and we will stay again every year before boarding the ferry for our annual trip back to England. Location couldn't have been better, right in the old town. Staff were lovely, though English isn't really spoken they will do their best to communicate. Room was really nice. Breakfast isnt' fancy but it is adequate (Tea, coffee, toast, ceral and pastry) Entry is via buzzer only and you need to leave room key in reception when you leave.

First we were surprised that it was not a separate building, it is only one floor in a big building and the owners are living there. The room was small, but there was a bathroom inside, and was nicely furnished and clean! There were also shampoos and gel which was a nice surprise. Beautiful bars and rest -
We were on the Camino del Norte and Bilbao was our last stop on this segment . this pension is ideally located beside the Cathedral on the Old City and on the route forward. We intend to stay here again when we resume the Camino next year. The shopping districts and indeed the Guggenheim were only a short walk away (say 15 minutes to 25 minutes) while there was plenty of restaurants etc in the Old City. A very helpful and obliging host in this Pension.
