  The apartment was clean with more than adequate facilities for a short break. There was an underground secure car park. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a supermarket, restaurant, two bars and a fabulous pizzaria all within a five minute stroll. All in all the perfect place for a short break stay on the outskirts of Santander. - Clean, spacious for 4 persons, well equipped. True, we spnt only 1 night, travelling from by car from Barcelona to Comillas,Santillana del Mar. Underground garage facility included in the price. Easy breakfast, more than nothing, was not expected but got. Very good Spanish restaurant in 300 meters. Very kind and helpful staff.

  The teenagers' room had an adjoining sun room with table and chairs and windows which opened properly. Also, we were able to park right outside the hotel for a small fee.   Very efficient front desk, and it was nice that the hotel was linked to the cafe downstairs. This turned out to be a pretty good place to eat, as well as having very good coffee - The location was excellent and very close to all the local amenities and just a 5 minute walk to the renfe rail station.

  Really liked Hostal Mexicana. A well-run and well-kept hostal. Really comfy beds. Clean throughout. Decor a little dated but quaint. Excellent location of hostal too. Santander is a great place for short break: mountains, sea, city and good food. - Just next to the main square! Very friendly and helpful staff.
