  Have been staying at the hotel over the years - in my opinion it is unique - in its setting and the service.   Stupendo. - We stayed here for two nights before going on a self drive safari to Kruger National Park. The owners were very friendly and we had a good and relaxing time at the lodge. If we had any questions, the owners were more than happy to advise. The room was very clean and modern. During my sta - We often use Phalaborwa as a stop-over en-route to the Kruger Park. This last stay at Tingala was by far the best and next time will probably just stay at Tingala and do day trips into the park. This is a special lodge with special people running it. Craig and Alison were the perfect hosts and the lodge itself was absolutely perfect in all respects - but primarily, the solace of the African Bush, the sounds, the smells, the animals (all over a glass of red and a night time braai from the stoop)
