The general ambience of the hotel. With the exception of 1 member of staff we were very impressed with the way in which staff had been trained and the way in which they attended to every need of their guests. It was very comfortable.
It was for our wedding night and the next morning for breakfast the hotel staff gave us cake and sweets, really nice of them!

We loved the friendly staff, the decor and environment, the sight and sound of the birds and nature all around us. It was blissfully quiet and restful and naturally beautiful. We especially enjoyed the lady who played the piano and the food was excellent! A real novelty for us was a little gecko or frog at our door when we'd come back from dinner.

We had a fantastic stay at this new modern development. The apartments are spacious and very clean. Also fully equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances. The Urban Park hotel is absolutely stunning. The apartments make the trip much easier when staying as a family. The indoor pool was perfect and the 24 hour gym. Well done also to the designers - very well presented. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will return!!

For an overnight this was a good choice; our arrival was late afternoon into Durban and we were nervous about driving in the dark. It quickly falls dark around 18.00, apparently year round.
